About The Course:
The mission of the San Diego Pain Summit is to help clinicians learn ways to create frameworks based on current pain research so they can develop effective pain management programs for their patients. Together we are working to bridge the chasm to develop effective pain management programs for our patients.

About The Instructor:
Kara Barnett, MPT, OCS
Board certified in orthopedic physical therapy and a clinical specialist in pain management currently working as part of an interdisciplinary pain management team at Kaiser Permanente. Her program is constantly evolving to provide the best care possible in an HMO environment by including therapeutic neuroscience education individually or group setting, CBTR in conjunction with a pain psychologist, manual therapy, ergonomic assessment, and movement re-education therapy with the primary goal of teaching the patient to feel and be self-efficacious.
