Course Description:
In this online continuing eudcation Dr. Tripp will be highlighting the prevalence of suicide risk in patients suffering from Interstitial Cystitis, Prostate Cancer, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He will also provide interesting insights into the suicidality models that help us understand such behaviour. Particular emphasis will be placed on predictive and protective factors ranging from depression to assessments of resilience. These clinically relevant data will be discussed in regard to current treatment options such as cognitive behavioural therapy and interventions such as de-catastrophizing.
